    Before you call

    Common questions.

How much does it cost to hire you?

Nothing up front. We work on a contingency fee, which means our fee is a percentage of what we recover, agreed in writing before we start. If we do not recover money for you, you owe no fee.

How long do I have to file an injury claim in Arizona?

Usually two years from the injury under A.R.S. § 12-542. Claims against a city, county, or the state need a notice of claim within 180 days, and some dog bite claims have one year.

What if I was partly at fault?

You can still recover. Arizona uses pure comparative fault, so your award is reduced by your share of the blame rather than barred.

Should I talk to the insurance company?

Report the crash to your own insurer, but do not give a recorded statement to the other side’s insurer before talking to a lawyer.

Will my case go to trial?

Most cases settle. We prepare every case for trial anyway, because that is what gets the best offers.
