    Phoenix Personal Injury Attorneys

    We start working for you.

When a crash changes your life, the insurance company starts working against you that same day. No fee unless we win.

    Quick answer

When should you call a personal injury lawyer?

Call before you give a recorded statement or sign anything from an insurance company, and well inside Arizona’s two-year deadline for most injury claims. An early call protects evidence and your rights. At Stroud & Valero the consultation is free, and you pay no fee unless we recover money for you.

    02 Why it matters

Insurance companies have lawyers whose job is to pay you less. You deserve lawyers who are ready to make them pay in full.

    07 Common questions

    Straight answers before you call.

Have a different question? Send us a message

How much does it cost to hire you?

Nothing up front. We work on a contingency fee, which means our fee is a percentage of what we recover, agreed in writing before we start. If we do not recover money for you, you owe no fee.

How long do I have to file an injury claim in Arizona?

Usually two years from the injury under A.R.S. § 12-542. Claims against a city, county, or the state need a notice of claim within 180 days, and some dog bite claims have one year.

What if I was partly at fault?

You can still recover. Arizona uses pure comparative fault, so your award is reduced by your share of the blame rather than barred.

Should I talk to the insurance company?

Report the crash to your own insurer, but do not give a recorded statement to the other side’s insurer before talking to a lawyer.

Will my case go to trial?

Most cases settle. We prepare every case for trial anyway, because that is what gets the best offers.
